It was a privilege for Sarah and I to facilitate this day with women birthing their own medicine drum! Creating sacred, transformative instruments in a context of loving sisterhood.
Here’s a video of some of the lacing work – gentle, repetitive crafting like this changes our brainwaves from beta to alpha, and we are receptive to receiving wisdom and insight.
A drum is a powerful tool for connection, grounding and inner knowing ( I’ve written a bit about what my drum means to me here). It’s exciting to consider the healing ripple of this day, these drums, this humble act of conscious creation. Blessed Be!

CONNECTING WITH YOUR MEDICINE DRUM-MAKING WORKSHOP
Saturday 12th November, 1.45-5pm, in Carnegie, VIC, $55.
~ Sometimes we make a beautiful drum and then we take it home and don’t know what to do with it. And there’s always more to learn, more ways to step into deeper connection with this magical instrument/ally. Our drums themselves are already teaching us many things, if we are able to listen, but for those who would appreciate deepening your relationship with your drum, Sarah and I are offering this workshop!
